Zero-touch setup and onboarding

With zero-touch deployment, every new Mac, iPhone, and iPad sets itself up with your apps and settings the first time it's turned on. When someone leaves, we lock or erase their device and get it ready for the next person.

What setup and onboarding includes

  • Ready on the first day

When someone joins, their device is ready on the first day with the right apps and access. On Macs that run Jamf, Jamf Connect lets them sign in with the same work account they use for everything else, through Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, or Google Workspace. You keep those licenses.

  • Devices that set themselves up

Company-owned devices enroll and configure themselves the first time they're turned on. Nobody has to set up a device by hand.

  • The same settings on every device

We start with what Apple builds in, such as FileVault encryption, automatic software updates, and remote lock and erase. Then we apply the same security settings to every Mac, iPhone, and iPad and keep them in place.

  • When someone leaves

We lock or erase the device, reclaim it, and prepare it for the next person. Access through their work account closes the same day. Every device goes through the same steps.

  • Mac and Windows

We support Apple-focused teams and mixed Mac and Windows teams. Mac and Windows tickets can go to one partner, as part of our managed IT services or alongside your IT lead.

  • Remote, and on site when hardware needs it

Most of the work is remote, and we come on site when hardware needs it. Run it as an ongoing managed service or as a single project.

How zero-touch deployment works

We set up Apple Business (formerly Apple Business Manager), link it to where you buy devices, and connect it to your device management. With Automated Device Enrollment, company-owned devices enroll and configure themselves the first time they're turned on.

For a small team, the device management built into Apple Business may be enough. For a growing team, it's usually Jamf, which we set up and manage. If Jamf Pro was set up and never finished, we clean it up. Already on Jamf Pro, Mosyle, Addigy, or another MDM? We support what you have.

Atlas Solutions is an Apple Technical Partner and a Jamf MSP, and we support Apple-focused teams and mixed Mac and Windows teams.

Questions we get

Do you support Windows as well as Mac?

Yes. We support Apple-focused teams and mixed Mac and Windows teams. New hires get the right apps and access on day one.

What if we already use Jamf, Mosyle, or Addigy?

We support what you have. If Jamf Pro was set up and never finished, we clean it up and connect Apple Business so new devices enroll on their own.

What if Jamf is more than we need?

We set up and run Apple Business Essentials so every Mac, iPhone, and iPad stays enrolled and usable.

What happens when someone leaves?

We lock or erase the device, reclaim it, and prepare it for the next person. Access through the work account closes the same day that Mac is erased and reclaimed.
