AI use policy

Plain-English rules for which AI tools your people can use, what company data can go into them, and when a person checks the output. Then we enforce those rules on the devices and accounts you already run.

What the policy covers

A yes or no for each tool

Your people need a list, not a philosophy. We name the approved tools, the plan each one runs on, and what's off limits.

What company data can go in

Customer lists, contracts, health details, and payroll stay out of public AI tools. We spell out what's fine, what needs a work plan, and what never goes in. AI data protection

When a person reviews the output

Anything that goes to a customer gets checked by a person first. The policy says who checks what.

Rules that hold up

A document alone doesn't stop anyone. We back the rules with your device management, your identity provider, and Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. It's part of our wider AI consulting and governance work.

Questions we get

Will you ban ChatGPT?

Rarely. A ban tends to push AI use out of sight. We usually move people onto a work plan and spell out what can go into it.

Is a policy document enough?

No. The rules also have to be enforced on the devices and accounts your people use.

Who is the policy for?

Owners and the people doing the work. It's written around how your team already works.
